is something wrong in video sound, or is the focusing sound really so loud and strange? it sounds like broken :p

Pfft.. f2.8 is not interesting at all, primes are all about big aperture :)
But interesting lens of course to have in a bag that normally gets way too heavy with full lens kit.

About your reviews, for some reason I feel you fill the frame too much. Maybe zoom out for a midshot of your body?

Using an external mic would do wonders for the sound. Also, why not cut in shots of you holding equipment, from another angle... more interesting that way. Of course the photos help a lot too!

Keep it up!

Thaks for your comments. I plan to use a lapel mic in the future, and we have cutaway shots on our camera reviews!

the sound is ok to me. maybe its you speakers

Actually i listened to it again, and now I know what disturbed me... it's the echo. The sound echoes too much. Does the room have too many hard walls?
I recall seeing Youtube videos where there were tips on how to get better acoustics, didn't favorite it though :(

You are getting really good at this.
Is it always sunny there? For a while, I thought you were shooting poster, the weather is always the same. :)
I'm actually rethinking my dslr strategy, replacing the E-3/12-60/7-14 with E-420/9-18/25... And then getting a Nikon D10 (or whatever it is going to be called) for the serious stuff...
cameralabs (June 9, 2008 at 1:45 pm)
Hi Jon, we do have some pretty good weather down here, although it has been stormy recently! Wow, that would be some change going from the E-3 with two awesome lenses to the E-420 with some lighter ones - depends how portable you want your kit to be I guess... We can discuss this in more detail on the cameralabs forums if you like...
