I think that the reason this is so amazing for many people is we get this idea of: oh the lions got the prey, it's all over!

Then the clip ends, but not here. Here we get the whole story, that an ENTIRE HERD would show up in force and create this kind of standoff... it's like the stuff in some kind of corny disney movie... the funny thing is it actually happened...

we all love this vid, becaouse finally it is not a dozen lions ambushing bulls but the other way round. we all feel that the lion king is a human myth, a single lion without the pride and ambush is one of the weakest of the big animals, elephants, bulls, rhinos, hipos (who are all vegetarians)
