You wouldn't believe this but I was actually on one of the two planes that flew into the South tower. Luckily I had the window open and my seatbelt wasn't buckled up- I was miraculously thrown clear and landed softy on a descending lift. I dusted myself down, walked free and continued reading the Da Vinci Code. It was only when a friend phoned saying "watch the news!" did I realise I had been in a building laced with explosives moments before it blew up. It was a lucky escape, I can tell you!
