the girl had PREVIOUS history of depression. The neighbor was wrong, but not responsible for Megan's death. Megan killed herself. The world is full of mean people. If everyone killed themself because someone was mean to them, the human race would be extinct.

Yes, many teens do kill themselves as a result of bulling. We have to instill in our kids Self confidence and self esteem early to overcome in this world. If there was intent by the bully to push an existing depressed kid over the edge to suicide, then Id definitely say it needs to go to court. If it were my childdepends on the circumstances. We talk about bullies at least 2x weekly. My 12 year old wants a Myspace account. I wont allow it. Rules of Myspace are for ages 14 and up.
