yeah i think there being used as tools to, and i think amarica is doing right in supporting israel becous atherwise they whoud be alone agains like 30 - 40 arabic countrys like they where in the thirst 40 years of the war and i admire them so much for holding there country!

you know, when they introduced smoking ban in italy all europe was laughing saying it would never work, because we are famous for turning the blind eye on bans and ignoring the rules. but it worked from the first day even in the university cafeterias.
The heaviest smoker in europe is greece, almost 40 % smoke.

i was talking about heroine and opium, read the drug report of the united nations for 2005. iran was number one in consumption and trafficking of opiates such as heroine, people prostitute themselves for drugs - all this despite the severe islamic laws which threaten death sentence for drug dealing or prostitution.

It sounds like a nice program, a good way to meet and befriend doctors from other countries and a decent way to get an idea where your future patients have come from so you can understand them better.

I'm glad to hear that Italy has banned smoking in public and rates are dropping. I've known people who refused to go, even for business, even expense paid, because of the cigarettes.

CG, I live in a college town near a city with a rate of education that rivals Washington, DC. Everyone here is well educated, rich or comfortable, enjoys above average health, mild weather, and lives surrounded by a variety of natural beauty. Yet this area has a much higher than national use of recreational drugs. We are hardly "totally desperate" but we do share the human desire to enhance experience with drugs, trying to choose those less injurious ones.

arabic countries do not treat palestinians well at all. they are denied full rights even if they live there since decades, they have to renew their work and stay permits. I spoke to a palestinian guy in egypt, he told me that the number of palest. students in egypt has been dropping since years, and they have pay for the education like foreigners. somebody here said that palestinians are being treated by arabs like propaganda tools against israel, i think, this is right.

it is not about tourism, it is a student exchange programm, we stay with them, they stay with us, many countries are participating, from russia to chile.
last year i stayed in israel/jordany/egypt.
i especially enjoyed staying in israel, i love jewish people, their intelligence and humor, jordania was great too, you'd be surprised how many contacts they have over to israel, scientific and otherwise, everything is possible if people only want to cooperate
