Heh, only about two pistols use this, one was a scrapped prototype and the other no longer made. The Desert Eagle, S&W 500 etc use a much smaller (couple inches shorter, and more narrow) round, if either of those were what you was thinking about.

If you paid attention to this video, you would know that the bullet can travel a mile in under 2 seconds. If you weren't stupid, you would know that the sheer size of that bullet plus its speed creates an enormous amount of force that can penetrate all but the toughest materials. Hence its purpose "Anti-material". Flesh and bone is nothing for .50 cal bullets.
