Paganism is the real religion in the bible, and there's nothing evil about it, quite the opposite. It wasn't "pagans" who slaughtered millions of indians in north and south america, it wasn't pagans behind the inquisitions, it wasn't pagans that kept mankind living in the dark ages for centuries, it wasn't pagans that have opposed every advancement of mankind ever since, it isn't pagans that claim knowledge is evil....

The bible itself is an ancient collection of "pagan" type stories/metaphors that descended from the ancient Egyptian and Greek mystery schools. The entire story of the birth, life, and death of Christ is a metaphor based upon astrology, the stars in the sky, the zodiac and the birth of the Sun on Dec. 25th the 3rd day after winter solstice when it's born under the constellation Virgo The Virgin and begins its return back to the Northern Hemisphere.

Myself I am not a christain -- BUT when i see christains celebrate there birthdays or christmas to me that is just beinging a hypocrite like this chap in the video -- its not a true form of christainity but a corrupted form of christainity..

here are some interesting quotes i have found - about birthdays -- one is from - The first century Jewish historian Josephus -"Nay, indeed, the law does not permit us to make festivals at the birth of our children, and thereby afford occasion of drinking to excess " Against Apion, Book II, Chapter 26.(Jewish families did not celebrate birthdays) that would have included the jewish christains..

If christains do there research they will find that origins of Christmas has nothing to do with jesus christ or the early church -- if fact the early jewish christain church would not have celebrated their own birthdays let alone jesus - to them birthdays were a form of Idolatry...it was later that Pope Julius I stole the date 25th and applied to jesus -- the pagan romans could keep there pagan feasts and at the same time worship there jesus ( well there form of jesus)..

1 of God's commandments is "Thou shalt not worship any other God's". Christmas is the worship of Elah-Gabal, a Syrian sun god; Sol, the god of Emperor Aurelian (AD 270274); and Mithras, a soldiers' god of Persian origin. So it is not simply just pagan, But also false worship.

Christians do not worship such gods on Christmas (or any time of the year) they worship Christ. The church chose this date to re-emphasize something positive over against something megative. Many early converts were from paganism and were tempted to return to their former celebrations. This replaced it.
