Not a clue. I'll check with one of his family friends who I am still in contact with. All I know is that he was in the honour guard aswell as NDT which for all I know are one and the same (SLC grad '07 so please pardon my ignorance).

At the risk of dating myself, I was a drill instructor at SLC in 81 and 81. I thought the team was crisp. A number of the formations date back to the late 70s and early 80s. The routines are difficult to master and the mixed cadences were done well. It was difficult to teach cadets to create and hear the cadence of their heels but this group did a good job of that. MysticKnight38: I was wondering if I could get a copy of the entire video from you?

NDT rocks i was on NDT 2003 on SLC. it was awesome routine i wish we had it on here. this is a tight vid thanks for posting it.

It was good, i think some one F*** up at the start, it is hard enough for a 15 person drill team to get it down, but that is a lot of people, and it was long so there must have been a lot of timings to remember, the salutes always kill ya, there the hardest to do right and have it all in sync because you cant see what it looks like. good job and why were they moving at stand easy??? was it a competition

They need some prep time to affix the straps on their wedges. I coopitition you are not allowed to use them. You can't see them too well but they are there. This was the National Drill Team Demo at my SLC grad parade.
