MACS are for work! Ask why all pro filmers, pro photographer, pro programmer, etc. are using a mac. Possibly your favourite singer is using a mac!
And if you say paper work, it's just the same. (if you count Office 2007, i have nothing to say, yet there's office 2008 for mac soon, so it will be the same.)

Chenghoman. Actually most "pro filmers" dont't use Mac. The most used editing program out there is Avid. And if you want to run it on a stationary computer the Macintosh alternatives are only used by Mac enthusiasts because they are to untried. That might change but its the way it is today. Final Cut Pro is on the other hand only available for Mac.

no there not actually. macs were originally designed to be for the consumer, as a more user-friendly OS as opposed to MS-DOS and Windows. that didnt seem to work, unfortunatley.
