yngwie switch between the pickups because the bridge mick gives a bighter crispier tone and the neck mick a more deeper and better solosound.and not so bright tone.he use the neck mick very mush on his solos

dude, how does he play with a tremolo? whenever i tune my guitar, my (one-way) tremolo goes down (in sound) and it screws up the tuning. Amazing sounding.

Yes. Its a great habit to develop at an early age, as it gives you more freedom. I do all the time. I'm not sure but I think its in the Blue video, where he goes to switch to the rhythm pickup, and the switch only goes half way up. Its in the middle of a really fast riff (big surprise), but he snags it back into the rhythm position just in time and in the middle of the riff. Quick hands - pretty sweet - halfway through the video or so.
